There’s an Eclipse Coming, But You Won’t Be Able to See It
You know, I know this one will probably hurt my Dad's feelings. But it's not my fault! Blame nature.

Anyway, coming up on the morning of March 29th, the moon will pass in front of the sun, and that's always a big deal. And it will be, but.. probably not for us.
There's a partial solar eclipse happening tomorrow at sunrise. They call it a "double sunrise" because you see two separate "horns" of the sun rising up. But sadly, most of the U.S. won't get to see it.

I know, I know. But, if NASA is right (and, let's be honest, they probably are), it might not even be that big a deal to those who DO get to see it.
The central part of the Moon’s shadow, where the Sun would appear completely blocked, misses Earth, so no one will be able to see a total solar eclipse this time.
And according to Live Science, it'll pretty much be just on the east coast.
Thirteen U.S. states will see the March 29 solar eclipse in some form, with a deeper eclipse visible the farther northeast you go. Coastal New England will get the best views. In Maine, up to 86% of the sun will be eclipsed as it rises.
Great. So there's going to be a totally cool thing happening in the sky, and we won't get to see it. Maybe I should go outside for Sunrise on the 29th and just wear some of the old eclipse glasses I had from last time. I can just sit on the porch and pretend, I guess?
Eclipsingly yours,
Behka
