
Two ‘Burg Residents Injured in Rear-end Collison
Two Warrensburg residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway patrol reports that a southbound 2014 Nissan Versa, driven by a 53-year-old female from Warrensburg, was on Business 13 at SE 240 Road around 5:40 p.m., when she slowed to make a left turn. That’s when a southbound 2010 Jeep Liberty, driven by a 16-year-old male, ran into the rear of the Nissan.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries and both were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
The Jeep had extensive damage, while the Nissan was totaled. Both were towed by Tip Top Towing.
