Two Injured in Morgan County When Dodge Strikes Deer

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday night in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2010 Dodge Caliber, driven by 40-year-old Jamie L. Martin of Fortuna, was on  Route W, 522 feet north of Inlet Road (SE of Versailles)  just after 10:30 pm., when the vehicle struck a deer.

Martin suffered moderate injuries while his passenger, a 15-year-old female from Versailles, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

The Dodge had moderate damage and was towed by Whan's Towing.
