Water Valve Replacement To Cause Temporary Service Disruption Monday

On Monday, May 19 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the City of Sedalia will be replacing a water valve.

During this time, water service will be temporarily shut off:

On W. Broadway Blvd. from S. Grand Ave. to S. Ohio Ave.

On S. Moniteau Ave. from W. Broadway Blvd. to W. 10th Street
Traffic Alert:

The left lane and center turn lane of eastbound West Broadway will be closed from South Harrison Ave. to South Kentucky Ave.

There will be a boil advisory in effect 24 hours after repair for this area only.

Other notices for Sedalia drivers include:

May 19–23 – 16th Street from Hwy 65 to S. Beacon Ave will be closed for milling. Paving will occur at a later date.

May 25–28 – Pro Energy Blvd to just west of N. State Fair Blvd will be closed for culvert pipe replacement.
“Please plan ahead, use alternate routes when possible, and thank you for your patience as we make needed infrastructure improvements,” the City said.
