Are You a Groupie, or Am I?

I was talking about Trampled Under Foot the other day and someone called me a "groupie," and I got to thinking: am I? I'm certainly not in the 1960's sense.  Not like the "Plaster Casters" or anything.  But I certainly a fan.

Here's the Urban Dictionary meaning of Groupie, or at least the one I chose to use:

n.  A groupie is a person whose devotion to a person (usually a celebrity, especially a rock and roll star) approaches the level of fanaticism.

I don't think I am!  However, I certainly think Danielle is the best female singer of any kind of music I've ever heard, I think Nick is a GREAT guitar player and Chris is as cool as the other side of the pillow.

I just saw them this past weekend at the Bear Creek Blues Festival, in Slater, Missouri.  I sat out in 100 degree heat all day just to see them.  I'm so excited that they will be back in town this Saturday night at Dickie Doo.  OK, OK, maybe I am a groupie, but shhhh don't tell them, that is soooo unprofessional!

Did I mention they will be in Sedalia this Saturday night?
