Baseball Has Officially Begun: Who’s Going to Win the World Series?

Spring is in the air, and that means it's baseball season.  Eternal hope looms for every team since the records are even.  Someone sent me a text message the other day and it said, "Dad, what's it mean to have a losing streak?" The dad says, "Son, I don't know, we are Cardinal fans."

I love opening day and all that comes with it.  To me, baseball season is too long and it gets boring in June and July until the pennant races heat up, but opening day should be a national holiday!

So who do you think is going to win the World Championship?  Cardinals are having pitching troubles again with Chris Carpenter out with arm problems, but I am still picking them.  The Redbirds always put a competitive team on the field, and seem to make the right moves at mid-season to make them a contender.
