Kids, today I had the good fortune to be in the building at the right time. Usually when it comes to breaking news, I can turn to our KSIS news team.  If it has to do with big celebrity interviews, Ken and Denny have that covered for the most part.  So I just do my weird little thing and bop along.  But no, today I got the breaking music news!

I had an interview today with Richard King, one of the main organizers of the Roots N Blues N BBQ festival in Columbia.  He called to not only tell me that two huge acts are going to be playing that Saturday night.

Yes, indeed. The Black Crowes are coming to the festival.  Oh wait, I said TWO didn't I?

BLAMMO.  Blues Traveler.  Not only those two, but also a host of other acts like Steve Earle, Mavis Staples, Samantha Fish and tons more. Not only that, but the festival has changed venues to Stephens Lake Park

Look at how pretty that is.  Just full of foliage and all sorts of little places to rest and be awesome and whatnot. And there's a lake!  I remember he said something about jumpin' in the lake if you got too warm. Now what about the kiddies, is there something they can do for fun?
