US Marshals Offer Reward In Columbia Homicide Investigation
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $3,000 reward for each suspect wanted in a 2023 homicide in Columbia in June 2023. This is according to a Facebook post by the Columbia Police Department.
Columbia Police officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired on Dove Lane late in the afternoon on June 26, 2023. Officers found an adult male, Deshon Joseph Houston, age 33, deceased with an apparent gunshot wound.
Arrested in connection with the homicide investigation are Jajuan Crockett, 22, Damarkus Williams, 19, Bryton Allen, 20, and Ja’Shaun Barney, 19, all of Columbia. Columbia Police are actively searching for Alqueze Jones, 20, Deljuan Turner, 20, and Deazes Turner, 21, all of Columbia.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $3,000 reward for information that directly leads to the arrest of any of these three wanted suspects. Providing information to Crimestoppers that directly leads to an arrest of one of these three fugitives could also qualify someone for a cash reward.
Columbia Police say the fugitive suspects are considered armed and dangerous and that the public should not approach these suspects if they see them.
