Chuck and Dee’s: 39 Years and Still Goin’

One my favorite places at the Missouri State Fair is Chuck and Dee's.  If you have ever been to the fair you certainly know where Chuck and Dee's is located. Heck, it's been there for 39 years.  Great live music at night, juke box during the day.  Get yourself a cold beer or soda some great eats and set back and people watch.

You never know what you might see at Chuck and Dee's, but my favorite is 'Almost Willie.'  Now 'Almost Willie' is this cat who looks exactly (and I mean exactly) like Willie Nelson.  The first time I saw him, I went and asked him for a interview, and he gave it to me. He got so famous around there he went and had head shots made just so he could sign autographs.

Chuck always has something a little different than everyone else, like the "Bone,"  a large bone shaped plastic glass full of ice cold beer.  The best thing about Chuck and Dee's is Chuck and Dee.  They certainly can tell you the history of the fair what they have seen and all the changes.
