Guys, I know it's getting to be that time soon. Time for Easter Egg Hunts!

And of course, I'm sure you wanna know where you can take the little ones around this year to get their search on. Well, I've lovingly gone through social media and community calendar announcements and found a few here in the area. Not just Sedalia, but La Monte, Clinton, etc. And if your group, church, or organization has one, comment and let us know about it! Here goes, in order of date.

Sedalia Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 1st.

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Liberty Park! The horn will sound at 10:00am sharp, so don’t be late! The event is for children up to age 10. Look for designated areas for each age group. Don’t forget to bring a basket! After the Egg Hunt, the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance (so don’t forget your camera!).

Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Remember to Dream Therapeutic Riding Center, April 1st.

The Center is at this address, for your GPS: 25388 Highway 52, Cole Camp. Join them this year (April 1, 2023 from 2pm ~ 4pm) for the annual Easter Egg Hunt to raise money for the Remember to Dream scholarship program. Price is $5 per adult and $1 per child (for all individuals attending the event).

Sedalia Parks and Recreation's Dog Bone Egg Hunt - "Paws In the Park".

This one will be on Monday, April 3rd. Horn sounds at 6:00 p.m. sharp. The Dog Park will close at 4:00 p.m., so don't come too early. Dogs will not be permitted into the dog park until 5:55pm. Sedalia Parks & Rec and the Sedalia Animal Shelter are putting on an “egg hunt” for your 4 legged friends! Put Fido and Fluffy on leashes and bring ‘em to the dog park at Clover Dell Park. Dogs must be up to date on shots and must be friendly towards other dogs or you may be asked to leave. Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available. Donations appreciated; items needed are: Bleach, Paper Towels, Trash Bags, Laundry Detergent.

Sedalia Parks and Recreation's Tween Flashlight Egg Hunt, Thursday, April 6.

This one will be held at Clover Dell Park, at sunset. So about 8:30 p.m., give or take change with sunset. This one is for kids aged 8-14 years. Cost is $15 per Child, so get registered by March 30. Join us out at Clover Dell Park for our Tween Flashlight Egg Hunt. Bring your flashlight and a bag to collect as many as you can to win some eggcellent prizes! Horn will sound at 8:30pm. SHARP!

Sedalia Moose Lodge Easter Cookie Decorating Classes - Thursday, April 6th.

Sedalia Moose Lodge 1494 Come decorate cookies for Easter using royal icing! This is geared towards beginners, ages 8 to adult. We will be decorating egg and bunny shapes, and will have 8 colors of icing available. 6 cookies is $15 or 12 cookies is $20. RSVP is required by April 1. Call or text Jennifer at 660-221-1440 to sign up. If you are not a member of the Moose lodge, you are welcome to come as Jennifer's guest! It'll be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 6th.

Sedalia Country Club's Egg Hunt for Easter Family Fun

Members & invited guests, join us for some Easter Family Fun on Saturday, April 8th beginning at 11:00 a.m.! They will have a family friendly buffet available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p .m. The adult buffet is $15, kids are also a cost of $15, but that includes various activities at 3 different stations in The Card Room & the Egg Hunt.

First United Methodist Church of Sedalia Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 8th, 10:00 a.m.

First United Methodist Church of Sedalia Over 10,000 eggs will be ready for the hunt! Join us on the east side of the Celebration Center. The event will happen rain or shine. Come ready for some fun and tell your friends.


La Monte Christian Church will have their Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday morning? Want to get the little ones out of the house? Join us April 8 for a classic holiday tradition: An Easter Egg Hunt! This event is for children, ages 1 yr. - 4th Grade It's free. They'll begin with a brief Bible lesson on the true meaning of Easter, and then they'll start the hunt! Easter Services at Clinton United Methodist Church, 601 South 4th Street, in Clinton on April 9th will include a pancake breakfast an an Easter Egg Hunt.

We hope you will join us for Easter this year! We will have 3 worship services. We will be having a come-and-go pancake breakfast from 8:30-10:30, so be sure to come to the gym before or after a service! Children's Church will be offered during all 3 services. During that time, kids will get to hunt for Easter Eggs!
