Of course, adults were always looking for fun stuff to do with us kids, and sometimes that meant crafts. But crafting has changed a lot over fifty years!

I cannot imagine any better way to spend my afternoon than by eating a ton of delicious chocolate that is going straight to my thighs.  Sometimes, you gotta just take one for the team, you know? I'll happily go to Knob and eat a ton of chocolate for you.

And guess what? It's completely free for everyone!

But this year, I wanted to be sure to tell you in advance so you can remember to get your tickets, get your DD, get a babysitter, whatever it is you need to do.

But I have a reminder about an event coming up that is much more important. It's a truly beautiful night for a man.....and his favorite little girl.

There's no break where you and your loved one feel like neither of you are a burden to the other. I get it, it's a lot.

If you’re wondering when the lighting event is, it will take place on Thanksgiving night, November 28th, at 7:00 p.m.

The combined groups will perform a mix of music including some traditional Smith Cotton songs such as the Alma Mater, as well as a few holiday-themed pieces and a medley of well-known Irving Berlin tunes.

Get ready for a haunting good time at the Fall Festival in Cross Timbers with a spooky Haunted Hayride, Costume Contest, and Kids Games!
