Tasty Traditions Are Grilled Or Fried In Sedalia This Month
The Sedalia Business Women have been getting together every year for over 40 years celebrating their accomplishments and achievements in Sedalia with their Chicken Dinner.
The dinner this year will be their 43rd! That's crazy. That's like, almost as long as I've been alive. I'm dating myself there. BUT. Moving on. It'll be held on Sunday, October 22nd. It's normally on a Sunday, so people can get a good dinner after church or before their football time. It'll be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It'll be at the Shrine Multipurpose Building, same spot as it's been every year I've been there. Just in case you need the address, that's 1375 Elm Hills Boulevard (easy for your GPS). The cost is only $12 for an adult, kids 5-10 are $6, and under four eat for free.

You can choose grilled or fried chicken, white or dark meat, corn or green beans, with coleslaw and a dinner roll. You also get to choose between a drink of coffee, tea, or water. There's also a ton of desserts you can choose from, and those change every year, depending on who's baking. Dine-in, carry-out, or curbside pickup will be available.
For carry-out orders, call 660-221-1804 or 660-460-0209 that day. The price of your ticket includes dessert. They'll use the money to benefit local charities in the Sedalia and Pettis County Community.
You can get your tickets at the door, from any SBW member (although I don't think they'll have like, nametags on or anything when they're just at the bank or something. You'll probably have to ask that person if they're a member. You understand) or at these local businesses:
Buckley and Buckley, 121 East 4th Street
Don's Truck Towing, 4735 South Limit
Moore's Greenhouse, 3311 Green Ridge Road
Chickenly yours,
Behka
