If you don't like the weather in Missouri, wait 10 minutes and it will change. Don't believe me? As we once again endure temperatures over 80 this weekend, meteorologists warn that a freeze is likely just days away.

I knew that the National Weather Service in St. Louis had mentioned that we would be on something of a temperature rollercoaster in Missouri over the next week with an extremely warm weekend and then a sudden dive early next week, but didn't realize it would be this crazy.

Here's a graphic just shared by the National Weather Service in St. Louis today showing different locations in both Missouri and Illinois and the percentage chance of freezing temperatures next Wednesday morning, October 16.

Lows next Wednesday morning are forecast to be in the upper 20's in most Missouri places. What's interesting to me is the further south you go in the state, the better chance that you'll see freezing conditions. That's likely because of the location of the cold front that's forecast to move through the area.

Will it really freeze in the middle of next week after a weekend of blazing hot conditions? This is Missouri weather we're talking about which means anything and everything is possible.
