After the success of last year’s inaugural Missouri First Responders Health & Wellness Conference, the folks at the Department of Public Safety decided to do what any good firefighter does when things are heating up.....add more fuel. The conference has been expanded from two days to three full days of wellness wisdom, September 16–18 at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.

Wait, What's A Health And Wellness Conference?

This event isn’t just another training with stale donuts and a PowerPoint. It's specifically designed for those who run toward danger while the rest of us are Googling “how to treat mild smoke inhalation.” That includes fire service, law enforcement, EMS, dispatchers, corrections officers, and agency chaplains.....basically everyone wearing a uniform and running on caffeine and grit.

Let’s face it.  First responders face a unique level of stress that doesn’t usually show up in the average office job. (Unless your office job involves sirens, split-second decisions, and keeping calm while everyone else panics.)

The conference brings together a dream team of experts in trauma recovery, mental health, sleep (yes, actual rest!), physical fitness, and even finances -because apparently budgeting is stressful even when you’re saving lives. You'll leave with real-world tools to help you not just survive the job, but thrive on it. And off the clock too.

What Do I Need To Know About This?

No big, of course I can break this down for you.  And if you're not a first responder but someone you know is, you'll need to know this too.

Here’s the deal:

  • It’s free (we’re not kidding).
  • It includes meals (you’ll eat better than you do on shift).
  • Lodging is included if you live more than 30 miles away.
  • It’s limited to 300 attendees, so act fast.
  • The location? The scenic Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, MO.
  • Check-in begins the afternoon of September 15. The conference runs September 16–18.

So if you're a first responder looking to feel better, rest better, think clearer, or just escape to the lake for a few days with people who get it—this is your sign.

Register now before it fills up. The link to register is here. Your future, well-rested self will thank you.

Healthily Yours,
