Kurt Fest: Where the Only Thing Louder Than the Band Is the Fireworks

Gentle Reader, here I am again with another community event for you to attend to help make your summer more pleasant and.... fun?  I don't know.

Let me tell you bit about an event coming up in July that will be full of good music, great food, and amazing fireworks.

What Chu Talkin 'Bout, Willis?

None other than Kurtfest!  It's coming up on July 12th, and it'll start at 4:00 p.m.  They're having it at the Green Ridge Recreation Organization.  They'll have bounce houses, food trucks, and three bands.  It's ten bucks to get in for adults, five for students, and kids five and under get in for free.

Kurtfest?  Are Only Kurts Invited?

No, no.  This isn't that kind of event.  It's not like one of those attempts to set a world record by having only guys named Kurt there.  Basically this started a few years ago with a dude named Kurt who just wanted to have a big party in his back yard.  It grew a little bit every year, and then it finally got moved.  And now, it's a huge event with a lot of great organizations and groups participating.  It's one of Green Ridge's favorite events.

So What's Gonna Be There?

There will also be a ton of food trucks.

And of course, there's a very impressive fireworks show.  Ya'll, I have heard nothing but amazing things about their choice of display. This year looks to be bigger and better all the way around. I know some of got nervous about last year being the final Kurtfest, but it looks like the new Fest is ready for you!  If you want to find out more, you can always ask them on their socials.
