MoDOT Notes Work on Route Z in Lafayette, JoCo

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lane closures on Lafayette and Johnson County Route Z between Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 50 for resurfacing.

Work will take place from Fri., Oct. 11 until Thu., Oct. 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. This project will involve the use of a flagging operation with pilot cars to help traffic navigate through the work zone. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
