On Sunday, July 6 at 7:17 p.m., Pettis County Deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle near US Highway 50 and Route 127 in La Monte for a traffic offense.

However, the motorcycle refused to stop and fled from Deputies. He later crashed and was taken into custody.

43-year-old Michael Brown was transported to Bothwell Regional Heath Center for treatment. He was later transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
