Resurfacing of Parts of Third Street Announced For Saturday

On Saturday, July 9 beginning at 6 a.m. and scheduled through 3 p.m., the roadway surface on West 3rd Street between South Ohio Avenue. and South Osage Avenue, and a section between South Missouri Avenue and South Prospect Avenue will be resurfaced.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in and along the roadway while these repairs are made. The roadway will be restricted to one lane of traffic.

Travelers in the area may want to find an alternate route to their destination to avoid delays due to this repair project.

The City apologized for any inconvenience the roadway restrictions may cause as they work to improve the surface of the roadway in the area.
