On Thursday evening, Sedalia Police observed a suspect driving a vehicle in the area of West 7th Street and South Moniteau Avenue.

Officers knew the suspect had a revoked driving status. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, a greenish-blue Chevrolet Silverado. Officers made contact with the suspect, who was uncooperative.

Officers removed the suspect from the vehicle to place her under arrest. The suspect began pulling away from officers as they attempted to place her hands behind her back for handcuffing. The suspect was then taken to the ground and placed into handcuffs.

While being escorted to the patrol unit, the suspect spit on the arresting Officer. The suspect also kicked the Officer before being transported to the Pettis County Jail.
