Here's a look at what's going on this weekend! Register for Paul Klover Soccer Association’s recreational youth league. 

The league is for children aged 4 to 17.  You can register at paulklover.com or at Pummill’s sporting goods. It’s also time to register for Paul Klover Soccer Camp.  It’s for youth of all ages fro 1st grade through high school.  It’ll take place July 7 through 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Clover Dell park.

The month of June you can register to be a bone marrow donor.

You can save a life just by being you.  There is no charge.  Stop by the Cosmetics Department of the Sedalia Walgreens to do a cheek swab.  You may also make a donation to the Blood Cancer foundation in the amount of $1, $3, or $5.  Contact Heather at Walgreens by calling 826-7464.

Alpha Delta Kappa will host a  Rummage Sale.

The  proceeds are going toward student scholarships.It’ll be held on Friday, January 13 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3700 West Broadway.  It’ll go all day long, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  They’ll have a multitude of trinkets and treasures and baked items, with everything priced to sell.  Alpha Delta Kappa is the International Honorary Sorority for Women Educators.

The 15th Annual My Car Swap Meet is coming on June 13 and 14.

It’ll be held on the Missouri State Fairgrounds, Sedalia, rain or shine.  The Swap Meet will have all makes of car, truck, motorcycle, antique and classic tractor, rat rods, race cars and race parts with plenty of spots to accomodate all vendors.  Free parking, rest rooms, free concessions, and free on site hauling.  General admission is $5 a day.  For information call Kevin at 596-3338 or Mike at 221-4966.  Visit www.mycarswapmeet.com for more details.

The Sedalia Parks and Recreation will have their Community Dance.

It’ll take place on Friday, June 13. fro 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  at the Liberty Park Convention Hall, 1500 W 3rd Street. Admission is a free will donation. Music Provided By : FLOYD HILL & THE COUNTRY STARDUSTERS. All proceeds will benefit the Sedalia Senior Center.

There will be a breakfast at the American Legion in Sedalia on Saturday, June 14.

The doors open at 2016 West Main street from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  They’ll have sausage, eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, juice and coffee for a cost of $6 for adults, and $3 for children under the age of five.  Delivery is available for two or more breakfasts.  Call 827-2750.

The Broadway Baptist Church is having a free block party.

It’ll be held at the church on Saturday, June 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They’ll have free games, prizes, a bounce house, and music from Transformed by Grace. They’ll also have free hot dogs, drinks and popcorn.  Their VBS starts June 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for ages three through the 6th grade.

Barbecue Fundraiser will help raise funds for an Autism Service Dog.

The annual festival of German music and song will be held in Cole Camp, Missouri, on Saturday, June 14, in the Jaycee Gardens in downtown Cole Camp.  
The festival will begin at 2 p.m. and will offer a wide variety of music with singing groups from St. Louis, Tulsa, Kansas City, and Cole Camp.  The Loehnig German Band from Hermann, Mo., will also have a feature in the program.  Following the program, the band will be playing some great polkas and waltzes into the evening for your listening and dancing pleasure. The Moose Lodge 1494 and the Workforce Development board are hosting a fundraiser for at risk youth in Pettis County.
It’s open to the public on June 14, at the Moose Lodge, 119 Winchester in Sedalia.  There will be a Fish Fry from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., an auction from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a dance featuring Young Country from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  All money raised will be used in Sedalia to assist eligible youth to meet educational and employment goals.
World League Wrestling presents Rumble in the Ridge. 
It’ll take place June 14th at the Green Ridge High School Gymnasium.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the event begins at 7:00 p.m. Advance tickets are $10, ringside $15 – ticket prices go up $2 at the door.  Get your tickets at Caseys in Green Ridge, Wood’s in Sedalia, Sedalia Rental and Supply in Sedalia, or Nita’s Place in Windsor.
The Salvation Army of Sedalia will host a Free Family Movie Night.
Movie Night with Popcorn will be on Saturday, June 14th, from 6pm to 8pm.  The Salvation Army is located at 1200 East Broadway.  This is a free family event and parents need to plan to attend with their children. For more information about this event, please call 826-1525.
The Sedalia Lion's Club will host their Backyard Bash.
The Sedalia Lions Club will begin their music and barbecue fundraiser for local children on Saturday, June 14 at noon.  The event will be held under the Swine Pavillion on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.  Live music will include McKenzie's Mill and Renegade Rail, among others.  Admission is $10.
There will be the first ever Pirate Faire held at 7C’s Winery.
It will be held on June 15, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  There is no cover charge.  Music will be provided by Tripleshot, and Hearts on Fire BBQ will provide food.  Cannon support by Captain Carl will also be on hand.  There will be a costume contest, kids treasure hunt, pirate/wench races, cannon ball stacking, arrrgh contest, and more.  For more information, visit www.7cswinery.com
