Get ready for something that hasn't been seen anywhere in the Midwest until now. Silver Dollar City announced they're building a resort adjacent to their theme park with never-before-seen vistas of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake.

The 262-room resort will feature spectacular views of the mountains and lake and unparalleled access to Silver Dollar City. The resort will also be adjacent to the company's other attractions, including White Water Water Park, Showboat dinner cruises, Pink Jeep Adventure Tours, and the Silver Dollar City Campground. Already under construction, the resort is set to open in late 2026.

Additional resort details regarding guest amenities, park privileges, room types, and group meeting spaces will be provided in the coming months. More information can be found on the Silver Dollar City website here.

The resort is part of a larger plan. The theme park's owner, Herschend Enterprises, is investing half a billion dollars over the next decade in constructing new family adventures, including the development of 1,200 acres adjacent to the theme park. It's the most significant investment in the company's 65-year history and begins with the debut of the Silver Dollar City Resort.

President of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts, Brad Thomas, called it a new era for the theme park and resort company. In a press release, Thomas says, “Over the next decade, we will mindfully transform 1,200 acres into an authentic, only-in-the-Ozarks destination, starting with our first resort. The new resort will combine Silver Dollar City’s spirit of playfulness, discovery, craftsmanship and exploration with all that makes The Heart of the Ozarks so special.”

In the same press release, Missouri Governor Mike Parson said, "This investment showcases Silver Dollar City’s commitment to tourism and economic growth in the Ozarks and for the State of Missouri.” Parson is also excited about the thousands of new jobs the project will create and the millions of new visitors who will experience Missouri.

Herschend Enterprises began in 1950 with a small cave tour in the Ozarks that became Silver Dollar City. Today, the family entertainment company includes Dollywood, Adventure Aquarium, Newport Aquarium, Kentucky Kingdom, Wild Adventures, The Harlem Globetrotters, and more.

Silver Dollar City is a promotional partner with Townsquare Media Sedalia/Warrensburg.
