Hey there! Before we dive in, I just want to share that I consider myself a skeptic. Honestly, I don’t really believe in ghosts—it’s a whole thing, but I won’t bore you with the details right now. That said, I totally enjoy hearing spooky stories—who doesn’t love a good scare, right?

Especially because we just finished up spooky season!  I haven't stopped listening to the Magnus Archive throughout the month of October.  So... I guess I'm still in the mood for all that business.

Recently, I came across a post from a friend who was totally spooked by something he called a "shadow person" that he saw in his bedroom doorway. He was sharing his experience on social media, which seems to be the way to go these days! Naturally, I had to ask him what exactly a shadow person is. He kindly agreed to give me the scoop (in a blog format) as long as I kept him anonymous.

From what I gather, a shadow person is not quite the same as a ghost. They usually hang out in doorways or hallways and don’t do much of anything. They're kind of like silent observers, just lurking there.

I have to admit, that does sound a little like a ghost to me!

It is and it isn’t. The thing about shadow people is that they often vanish as soon as you move or speak, which doesn’t always happen with ghosts.

That’s interesting! But how can you be so sure it’s not just a half-dream or some kind of hallucination?

Well, I was staring at it for five minutes straight! Then I sneezed, and poof—it was gone!

So, are shadow people allergic to sneezes now?

Shut it, smarta**.

What do you think?  Have you ever seen a 'Shadow Person" or a "Shadow Spirit" anywhere?  Do you even believe in ghosts?

Spookily yours,
Behka
