Behka's Pet Sounds

Kids, I've finally gotten around to getting a new Pet Sounds special ready, and it's happening tonight at 9:00 p.m.  The winner with about 80% of the vote was the Weezer album 'Death to False Metal.'

Kids, kids, kids.  I asked you to vote, but this is ridiculous.  We gotta break this tie! Last week I had asked you to fill out or new Pet Sounds poll, and choose your next album that you'd like to hear in full, with interviews from the artist discussing the process.  Well, you voted alright.  You took us from a three way tie - TO A FOUR WAY TIE!

Kids, I'm totally gonna try for us to do another Pet Sounds sooner rather than later.  So, here's your chance to weigh in on what we should play.

Kids, this week is going to be the next edition of our album special: Pet Sounds.  And wouldn't you know it, we've got another tie!

Kids, tonight's Pet Sounds was voted on by you and the Denny Perkins Army. It's coming up tonight at 9:00 p.m. on the air at 92.3 Bob FM and online.  The winner of this edition is a blues, guitar and pop legend Bonnie Raitt.  The album we're doing tonight is called 'Slipstream.'

Kids, this is a first in terms of our recurring segment, Pet Sounds.  Basically, what we do is we put up a poll a bit before the special, and ask you what you want to hear.

Kids, a little bit ago we decided to try something new.  I decided to call it Pet Sounds, to kind of add a nod to the Beach Boys album, and also to make it clear that the music would be handled with care.
