I remember sitting in the back pew of church, though, and there'd always be someone sitting for "just a spell" to talk about somesuch or other, and most of the time they were saying stuff they didn't want kid me to hear.

I also picture having a small company meeting to tell everyone, "Okay, come on, knock it off.  Enough is enough". 

I've lived in Missouri long enough to know that my home state is full of funny people. That being said, I don't think a Missouri man was joking recently when he officially gave the worst tornado advice you'll ever hear.

Guys, look. I know it's getting to be Springtime. That means a lot of March and April showers, but it also means warmer weather. And it puts us all in the mood to get out there and have some fun!

The one that decided to get with that person you "don't need to worry about".

I mean, we're not going to get TOO crazy around here, but.... just in case.  Maybe don't read this one on your lunch break at your desk.

For all I know, he was on the run from a short, curly haired predator with glasses. And I wouldn't want to traumatize him like that.

Well, I'm sorry guys, my detective skills only go so far.  I'm a beat reporter with an opinion column, ain't nobody looking to me for serious answers. 

It's a site comprised of reader submissions where they explain their nightmare interactions with the public. Think of all the worst Karens you've ever heard of, or shoppers who just refuse to read signs, people who holler at the cashier when their coupon is expired, you get it.
