Pettis County Deputy Ed Crampton and Community Interaction Deputy Larry Parham, had the honor of attending the esteemed National Midwest Gang Investigators Association Conference at the historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from May 12 - 16.

“In my role as the MGIA-Missouri Chapter Vice President, I had the privilege of representing our chapter alongside my colleague.

“During the conference, we engaged in a series of comprehensive classes that delved into critical topics such as outlaw motorcycle gangs, national gang heroin investigations, white supremacy groups, and the importance of building relationships in communities of color,” Parham said.

The conference featured expert presenters from across the country, ranging from California to New Jersey, providing valuable insights and knowledge in the field of gang investigations.

“The diverse training sessions provided us with essential tools and strategies to enhance our skills and effectively serve the residents of Pettis County. By staying informed and educated on the latest trends in gang-related activities and community engagement, we are better equipped to fulfill our mission of protecting and serving our community.

“Our participation in this conference highlights our commitment to professional development and continuous learning. We are dedicated to utilizing the knowledge gained at the conference to further strengthen our efforts in keeping Pettis County safe and secure,” Parham concluded.
