Two Sedalians were injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Monday afternoon in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1997 Harley Davidson, driven by 36-year-old Eugene A. Edwards of Sedalia, was on H Highway at Springlake Drive around 3:15 p.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a left curve and traveled off the left side of the roadway, ejecting both the driver and his passenger, a 12-year-old girl.

The girl had minor injuries, while Edwards had moderate injuries. Cole Camp EMS transported both to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
