Highway 350 Down To One Lane For Water Main Replacement

This story has been updated to reflect a lane closure on Eastbound Highway 350 at Noland Road in Independence. 

Update: The Missouri Department of Transportation sent out a press release on Friday, September 29, 2023, announcing that a water main break will require a left lane closure on Eastbound Highway 350 just west of the intersection of Highway 350 and Noland Road. The left lane is expected to be closed through approximately Wednesday, October 4, 20923. Motorists should expect delays.

Folks who use Highway 350 in the Raytown area to get into the Kansas City area may experience some delays during the month of October.

Water main replacement and water line work will require an intermittent lane closure on Highway 350 in the Raytown area between 87th Street and the Little Blue River Bridge according to a Missouri Department of Transportation press release.

Work will take place between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM CDT starting Monday, October 2, and is scheduled to last through Tuesday, October 31. Westbound motorists can expect only one lane to be open during this time while construction work is being done.

U.S. 50 to Highway 350 is one of the major roads people from the Sedalia and Warrensburg areas use to get into Kansas City and the surrounding areas. Highway 350 also leads people to Interstate 435 and is quite frequently one of the ways Google Maps and others suggest people take when traveling into the Kansas City area.
