Well, my fellow Sedalians, the Missouri State Fair is here. Whether you're ready for it, or not!I mean, it's here every year, and it's not a surprise, but sometimes, it feels like it!  Either way, everybody here at the stations is psyched.

But, we get that there may be a few things you want to let people who are coming in from out of town know.  So, I opened it up to you in our Purple Box Question, and you guys didn't disappoint.

Have patience, it's a headache trying to drive in that town at fair time

True, you do have to watch where you're going and be respectful. And of course, be safe with your cash when you're out.  But there are a lot of great things to see and do in Sedalia, don't worry.  Just make sure you're driving carefully.

Of course, then there were the snarky answers.  If you're an out of towner, don't worry too much, it's part of the sense of humor in Sedalia.  People can be a little sarcastic in the comments, admittedly.  It's part of the Sedalia Charm.

George H  -We all have Covid!

Joe K -  Go home , nothin to see here!!!

Theresa M - I would say save your money and stay home. Lol

Tony K - Don’t

Bill - The state fair is a big bother and these irritating out of towners can all go to Hades.

Lacey S - Don't do it

Glenn N - Stay home it's a rip off

But another part of the Sedalia Charm is the honesty.  Sometimes, people just need to hear something, and if you do, a Sedalian will tell you.  And honestly, if there's anyhing any readers could take away from this experience today, it's these two commetns.

Cory J - Wash daily

Edward E - Use your blinker

Yes, please.  Use your blinker, and wash daily.  Thank you.

Welcome to the Fair!

Sedvillingly Yours,
Behka

LOOK: The top holiday toys from the year you were born

With the holiday spirit in the air, it’s the perfect time to dive into the history of iconic holiday gifts. Using national toy archives and data curated by The Strong from 1920 to today, Stacker searched for products that caught hold of the public zeitgeist through novelty, innovation, kitsch, quirk, or simply great timing, and then rocketed to success.
