Work Out Day At The K

On Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25, the Royals will play their final two exhibition games of the pre-season at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas against the Rangers. Then on Thursday, March 27, the Royals will open their season with a game against the Cleveland Guardians at Kauffman Stadium. On Wednesday, March 26, the team is holding a workout at Kauffman Stadium and they've invited Royals fans to join the team for Work Out Day At the K. The best part is it's free!

According to information on the Royals website, "We’ll have player interviews, a live DJ, value menu concessions available for purchase and the team store will be open! Reserve your tickets today!"

Okay, so it doesn't look like you'll be able to get the Pasquatch Sandwich or the Z-Man sandwich they'll be selling from Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que, but you can buy a hot dog and a Coke while you enjoy the workout.

How Can I Get Tickets To The Workout?

Tickets for Workout Day at the K are free and available from the Kansas City Royals website. Gates will open at 2:30 PM CDT, and the workout is scheduled from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM CDT. Fans are asked to enter the park through Gate D. The MLB Ballpark app will distribute tickets to fans who order them. You will need an MLB account to order the free tickets.

For those of us who can't make it out to the K for opening day, or perhaps don't want to spend the money to do that, this is the perfect opportunity to support the Royals, enjoy a day at the ballpark with zero ticket cost, and value priced concessions, which means you won't have to give up your first born to enjoy a hotdog and Coke!
