When I was a kid, almost every weekend my Mom and Sister and I would go "Garage Salin'". It was just a fun thing to do and sometimes you'd find the greatest things. Well, why enjoy the same thing, only for a good cause?

Check out the American Legion Post 305's Indoor Flea Market/Swap Meet. It'll be on May 19th from 7 am to 3 pm in Cole Camp, at the Legion. They're still looking for some vendors, too, and you can reserve a table for $10 by calling Terry at 660-668-3707. They'll have biscuits and gravy for breakfast, and hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch.

It's also the same weekend as the Cole Camp JC's Barbecue contest and bike show, so there should be a good crowd! And who knows, you might find that perfect item you just can't live without.

In college, I bought almost every glass and random item I needed for my little apartment at a place in Warrensburg called Those Were The Days, and I still use the cartoon character glasses I bought there. After all, I enjoy drinking my Tahitian Treat out of a Chipettes glass. Who wouldn't? Flea markets can be a lot of fun, so check this one out on the 19th.

What about you, do you enjoy Swap Meets and Flea markets? Have you ever found anything amazing or funny?

Swappingly yours,
Behka
