Halloween Costumes for your Pet

October is my favorite month, for many reasons really. I love the cooler weather because boots and leggings are my fav. Yes... I am basic.

Decorating the house in autumn, browns, and burnt orange is also a favorite thing for me to do. Dancing around in the bright leaves, drinking a glass of wine next to a bon fire, making an organic soup for the family, are just a few things that October and the months to follow bring me.

But as most of you know, I love my animals. They are my kids. And so when Halloween comes around I love to buy them a costume to wear...although they hate it. And I end up taking a few pics and never making them wear it again: hence...a waste of money.

Halloween costumes for your pet are a waste of money. I spent $8 on the angel wings that Peanut Panini wore for about 5 minutes. I spent $4 on the witch hat that Gracie tore up, and about $10 on the football costume for Dodger that he destroyed.

Moral of the story: It's cute...but... SAVE YOUR MONEY.
