
Three Sedalia Women Arrested in Child Abduction Case
Three women were arrested by the MSHP on Monday afternoon around 2:15 p.m. in Pettis County.
42-year-old Daveeta L. Davis, 25-year-old Raven S. Johnson and 22-year-old Karon D. Nabors, all of Sedalia, were all wanted on Will County, Illinois warrants – Davis was wanted for child abduction, Johnson was wanted for larceny and Nabors for aggravated fleeing.
All three were taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.

They were officially charged on Tuesday in Pettis County concerning a child abduction case that occurred in the Chicagoland area. Arraignments were held Wednesday.
The child (age not disclosed) was located with the three women Monday at 2:15 p.m, and removed from the back of the residence. Custody of the juvenile was transferred to Sedalia Police.
The three fugitives were then taken into custody without incident by the MSHP.
