Someone HUGE is Coming to the Missouri State Fair!
You can usually find a spectacle at a state fair. This makes sense when you have people from all over coming together for a short window of time. To get attention though you need to stand out. The Missouri State Fair is welcoming a spectacle to this summer’s fair that will undoubtedly grab attention….the world’s biggest rubber duck.

Mama Duck has been signed to plop down in Sedalia, Missouri this summer, and she’ll be taller than most everything in Sedalia short of the Hotel Bothwell, the water tower and (maybe?) the grandstand at the fair…
You can't hide from Mama duck on the fairgrounds. She see's all.
Mama duck is over 6 stories tall, 64 feet wide and 74 feet long. Her nesting area will be just east of the Mathewson Exhibition Center. High above the fairgrounds like a preposterously innocent looking Kaiju, she’ll be able to oversee most everything that goes on at this year’s state fair.
Look for mama duck to start popping up on social media for and from the fair as a go to photo-op. Since quacking onto the scene in 2014, Mama duck has visited places all over North America. So while everyone competing at the fair will be trying to win state superlatives, Mama duck goes bigger, and the Show-me state will be shown in August that the “world is her bathtub”.
