Say Cheese Under The Sedalia Magic Tree and Help Open Door On Friday
If you're looking for that perfect photo with friends and family for your Christmas card this season, you'll want to dress up on Friday night, gather some non-perishable food items, and head to Interstate Studio.
Once again this season Inter-State Studio is holding Portraits Under The Magic Tree to benefit Open Door Service Center. Here's how it works. For a donation of one non-perishable food item for each person in the photo, Inter-State studio will give you a professional portrait or group photo taken under The Magic Tree. You'll pose for the picture on Friday night. Then a few days after the event, Inter-State Studio will email you your photo.
The event is happening at Inter-State Studio, 3500 Snyder Avenue, here in Sedalia, on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST.
Open Door Service Center's mission is to provide life essential services such as food, clothing, shelter, and emergency assistance to those in need. They fulfill this role through their Food Pantry, Soup Kitchen and Service Center, and the Open Door Thrift Shop. You can learn more about Open Door here.
Weatherology says it'll be cloudy on Friday with a high of 60. That said, I'd dress for colder weather on Friday night, our low is expected to be 32 and you don't want to be cold waiting for your turn to have your photo taken under the Sedalia Magic Tree. Inter-State Studio will have hot chocolate available.
