Late Wednesday night, Officers were dispatched to the area of East 3rd Street and South Washington Avenue regarding a disturbance. After an investigation, a female was placed under arrest. Destiny Holland, 34, of Sedalia, was booked in at the Pettis County Jail on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (Alcohol), Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the 1st Degree. Holland was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Officers responded to the 2600 block of Brandon Avenue Wednesday evening in reference to a fraud report. Officers spoke with Sheila L. Shultz, who stated someone had opened bank accounts under her name without her permission or knowledge. No suspects have been identified at this time.

Wednesday evening, Officers responded to the 200 block of West Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. Both parties had apparent minor injuries. Both claimed the injuries were caused by the other party. No charges were filed. A 12-hour log will be completed to document the incident.
