When I was young, I spent a lot of time drawing and coloring. I bet you did, too. And I'm sure we enjoyed it, but what if your kid could get some socialization, education, and have some fun this summer while doing it?

What's The Catch?

No catch. I'm talking about the Mystery Makers Art Camp.

Jordan Fields and Krista Kempton are ready for a week of mysteries, exploring art processes, and creating artwork drawing inspiration from contemporary and modern art!

As you know, drawing benefits children by fostering creativity, enhancing cognitive skills, improving fine motor skills, and allowing for emotional expression. It also strengthens hand-eye coordination, boosts self-esteem, and can aid in communication, especially for non-verbal children.

You remember how it felt to show someone in your life a drawing you were proud of when you were a kid.  It's a great feeling, and it's important to remember that when we're thinking of stuff for the kids to do this summer.  Isn't it better to have them doing something you know they'll be proud of, rather than....another week of Minecraft?

When Is It?

It'll be happening starting in June with K-2 kids, then they'll have a week for preschoolers, then a week for 3-5th graders, and another week for 6th grade and up. So when you're signing up, just tell them what grade your kid just finished, and that'll put you in the right group.

It is just a schosh pricey, $90 per artist, but that includes a daily snack and four days worth of supplies for the projects. So if you think about it, it's not that bad, since they're providing all the incidentals. Should make it easy for busy parents. Online registration closes May 31st.
