Surprising Chief to Get Most Commercial Time During Super Bowl
Over the past several years we’ve become accustomed to seeing Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in the spotlight of TV commercials.
From Head and Shoulders, T-Mobile, Subway, Adidas and of course the company that has used him to the greatest effect; State Farm. Patrick Mahomes has been in at least a half dozen ads for the insurance company.
Travis Kelce has spread his brand all around for Campbell’s Chunky soup, Subway, Pfizer, General Mills Cereals, Pepsi, State Farm Insurance and McDonald’s too. Kelce’s foray into commercial work began before his relationship with Taylor Swift, but it’s easy to understand that for ad agencies the brass ring would be to get the two of them in a commercial together. There have been rumors, and yes the NFL did use both of them in a league promo last season, but that was just clips from games when he played and she was in a suite at the stadium.
Pay attention though, there’s a new Chief getting some love on commercials for Sunday’s game….
Kansas City head coach Andy Reid has been popping up in ads with Mahomes for State Farm for a year or so, and has shown that he has some comedic timing and delivery culminating with his “Bundle-a-Rooskie-Doo”. Now Reid is branching out on his own for Pringles and Skechers.
Keep score Sunday to see which Chief has the most commercials during the game, Mahomes, Kelce or Coach Andy Reid.
