I'm surprised people don't commit more random acts of kindness these days. I mean, you could TOTALLY take a selfie while you were doing it, post it on Facebook, and get at least 15 Likes.

We just had another round of National Random Acts of Kindness on Monday.  Was that on your mind?  Did you make an effort to spread a little bit yourself?  Well, if not, don't feel bad.  I forgot, too.

LUCKILY FOR US, just because it's not on the National Day doesn't mean we can't still participate!

A new survey found the top five most common random acts of kindness we do, and honestly, most of them are pretty easy.  Like, it would take less than a few minutes.

1. Letting someone go in front of you in line, 51%.

2. Checking in on a loved one, 49%.

3. Asking a neighbor how they're feeling, 43%.

4. Doing a favor for someone while they're out of town, like watching their pet or signing for a package, 26%.

5. Giving up your seat for an elderly or pregnant person, 22%.

The survey also found 23% of people have NEVER performed a random act of kindness.  Wow.  23%?  Like, almost a quarter of us?

Well. If you're looking for something to do with all that kindness you have stored up, I have a little idea.  It's about something that happened in Sedalia on that very night.

If you can't read it, it's a notice about the fire that happened in my neighborhood earlier this week.  The house has, if I remember rightly, a couple of generations live in that house, and of course, they've got little ones.  And with the fire, things have been destroyed, things have been damaged, etc.

While I don't know anything personally about a donation drop off or anything for them, I'm sure someone will link or tag in the comments.

I hope someone makes your day a little randomly brighter.

Randomly yours,
Behka

LOOK: 35 Vintage Cereals That Perfectly Captured Pop Culture Moments

Movies and TV shows have always found ways to partner with cereal companies as part of their promotion strategy. Here are vintage cereals that were used to promote some of pop culture's biggest moments (and some you probably forgot about).
