The Ultimate Tour You Need To Indulge Your Inner Nosiness
Guys, I am a lot of things. And I have to be real with you. One of those things I can be is selectively nosy.
But I think we're all kind of that way, aren't we? When we drive down Sedalia streets at night,... sometimes you look as you're whizzing by, right? You see when people have their blinds or curtains open. You don't stop, you don't stare, but... you do look. Just a little peek, right? Right.

And I'm that way biiiig time when it comes to older or historic houses. I'm always clicking on those listings, just because I wanna see what's inside...without being some creep job. No staring in windows, no attending open houses just to look.
But, you guys. Now, there's an official tour where you can go into some of the most interesting buildings in Sedalia.... and look at every little thing you want to, with no guilt! In fact, they're INVITING YOU!
The Patchwork Of Places Tour
The Patchwork Of Places
So How Do We Get In On This?
They are offering tickets for sale before the event. The event will be on April 6th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission in advance can be purchased at the Katy Depot (600 East Third) or Moore’s Flower Shop (3311 Green Ridge Road) for the discounted price of $20. After Friday, April 4, admission will be available for $25 at The Timber Frame Barn (19424 SSR-Y (Hwy Y).
Now here's something - they're only offering day of admission at the Timber Frame. So you won't be able to buy a ticket anywhere else that day. It'd probly be easier to get them before hand.
How Does it Work?
From what I can gather, when you buy your tickets, you get a wristband. Then, you get a list of the five addresses, and you go and see them in that three hour window. You can go in whatever order you want, and you can stay as long as you want or as little as you want. So if you are only interested in, say, three of the houses, you don't have to go to all five.
And all of this goes to a great cause! All proceeds will benefit the maintenance and refurbishment of the Heard House! Which means you can enjoy history with your family for years to come.
Touringly yours,
Behka
