According to a survey by Salary.com, if you have something that HAS to get done at work this week, try doing it THIS MORNING.

Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. are the most productive hours of the work week.  In general, Tuesday is the day when the least time gets wasted . . . followed by Thursday.

As you might expect, the last two hours of the week . . . Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. . . . are the LEAST productive.  And after Friday, Monday is the least productive day.

People also waste more time as the day goes on.  From 9:00 to 11:00 is the most productive time . . . and each two-hour period of time is less productive than the last for the rest of the day.  But people also don't get much done BEFORE nine.

Pretty much EVERY day seems unproductive . . . we're all counting down the hours until we're going to  my wedding (Joking!!).  So this survey on productivity is a little ill timed . . . I guess keep it in mind for next year?

A new survey of about 300 HR managers around the country asked them to name the day of the week when employees are usually most productive.  Here are the results . . .

1.  Tuesday, 39%.

2.  Monday, 24%.

3.  Wednesday, 14%.

4.  Thursday, 3%.

5.  Friday, 3%.

So people are most productive at work on Tuesdays . . . and least productive on Thursdays and Fridays.  The survey also found that employees are least productive after 4:00 P.M. and most productive between 10:00 A.M. and noon. What about you?  When do you feel like you're most productive?

Productively yours,
Behka
