Sometimes, there's nothing better than brunch. Brunch is like lunch, except it's the best of both worlds. Who doesn't love sleeping in, heading out for a bite a little later in the morning, and chowing down on the best breakfast and lunch foods that play well together? I'm talking about steak and eggs, waffles and chicken, Turner and Hooch. No, wait a minute; isn't that last one a movie Tom Hanks would rather we forget? I kid, I'm a kidder. According to Yelp, if you want the best brunch in Missouri, you should head for St. Louis.

Earlier this year, Yelp named its Top 100 Brunch Spots for 2024. Yelp identified businesses in the breakfast and brunch category, with many reviews mentioning brunch and Mother's Day. Because you see, many families like to take mom out for brunch to celebrate her day. Then, they ranked those spots using several factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning those keywords over the past three years. They also limited restaurants with more than one location to the highest-rated location, and they limited the number of businesses per state for geographic diversity.

Only one Missouri restaurant made the list regarding brunch locations. Hatch'd STL came in at 85 on Yelp's Top 100 list.

According to Hatch'd website, "Hatch'd STL, established in 2022, has hatched into a sensational brunch destination in Princeton Heights. Owned by the dynamic father-and-son duo, Joshua and Paul have a mission to reinvent the St. Louis brunch scene by offering a clever twist on our American Breakfast, vanilla batter pancakes, and boozy beverages! So get egg-cited about brunch and join us today!"

Hatch'd offer everything from Strawberry French Toast to a peanut butter, bacon, banana, and chocolate chip pancake called The Fat Elvis. According to Hatch'd STL, their concept is simple: a neighborhood place for Joshua's neighborhood featuring breakfast and lunch items.

The restaurant offers a pretty straightforward American breakfast with twists here and there, like the Fat Elvis. The breakfast menu is extensive, with something for everyone, while the lunch menu is slightly more limited. The lunch menu is also only served Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM CST. They also offer cocktails, most of which pair well with breakfast foods, and they offer a bottomless mimosa on Saturdays for $24.99. There are some restrictions on that!

Prices range from about $10 - $15 per entree, with ups and extras each adding about $1 to the cost of each menu.

Hatch'd STL gets 4.6 stars on Yelp, and they list the brunch joint's popular dishes as the Hot In Hurr Skillet, Mary Moon, Nachostada, and the Gringo in Paris, which is a cocktail.

Hatch'd STL is open daily from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM CST and is closed on New Year's, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You can learn more about Hatch'd STL here.
