On this edition of Enquiring Minds, I'd like to check in with you and see what you're thinking of the Missouri State Fair so far this year. Every year, Sedalia has a mix of dread and excitement when it comes to the arrival of the Missouri State Fair.  Yes, we're excited for all the exhibits, music, food, and people - but we also hate the traffic.  In fact, I think that's the only downside of it for me.  Everyone who lives in Sedalia starts taking back roads everywhere they can to avoid the main streets of Limit and Broadway.  So that's good and bad - because it means all the Fair people are on those streets, and the rest of us are on Grand, Main, 16th Street, etc.  But otherwise, I really enjoy the concerts and the people who come in from all over the country. I guess it's just part of my nature as a native Sedalian to look forward to it while dreading it (although as a kid, it was mostly dread because you know what happens after the fair..........SCHOOL STARTS). What do you think of how it's gone this year?  Let me know what you like, what you don't, and anything else you might have thought-wise about this year's fair.

Fairly yours,
Behka
