Amish Wedding In Holden To Increase Horse-and-Buggy Traffic
It's not every day that the public is warned about a traffic tie-up due to horses and buggies, yet that happened on the Johnson County Missouri Sheriff's Office Facebook page yesterday afternoon.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says an Amish wedding with over 450 attendees is being held in Holden on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The Sheriff's Office says folks should expect increased buggy traffic throughout the day along 58 Highway, O Highway, and U Highway.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office asks everyone to "Please exercise caution and be vigilant while driving in these areas to ensure the safety of everyone on the road. Let's all be patient and share the roads responsibly."
