On the morning of July 20th, Deputies were dispatched in reference to harassing phone calls in rural Kingsville. Corbin Emmanuels was receiving unwanted phone calls due to their phone number being linked to an escort website.


 

Deputies were dispatched to a rural address in Johnson County in regards to a domestic disturbance on the afternoon of July 20th. The reporting party advised the victim told them to have Deputies respond to the residence due to an altercation with a Warrensburg resident. When Deputies spoke with the victim, they advised they had been physically assaulted. Deputies noted several bruises on the victim’s body. Charles Kristopher Schroeder, 52, of Warrensburg, was placed under arrest on a charge of felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Schroeder was transported to the Johnson County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold. Schroeder was later issued a cash only bond of $7500.


 

Three juveniles were reported to have thrown a rock through window and kicked a rear door to an address in the 200 block of South East 101 Road in Warrensburg. Deputies made an attempted to contact the owners of the residence on the afternoon of July 20th, but were unsuccessful.


 

Deputies were dispatched to a rural Centerview address in reference to a reported burglary on the night of July 20th. Deputies contacted the reporting party, but found no signs of forced entry. Deputies informed the reporting party to create a list of the stolen items to add to the report.


 

A Johnson County Crime Resolution Team member conducted a traffic stop on Pacific Street in Kingsville on the night of July 19th. The initial stop was conducted because the vehicle was speeding. The driver of the vehicle was found to have six Belton Police warrants for his arrest. Austin Robert Gillette, 19, of Holden, was arrested for his Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of No Operator’s License (two counts), Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (two counts), and Careless and Imprudent Driving. Total bond was set at $800 cash or surety.

On the night of July 19th Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of SW 58 highway in Kingsville. Prior to the traffic stop, Deputies were sitting in a rail road substation facing west bound along 58 Highway. From that position, Deputies were able to use their in car radar system. While there, Deputies heard a loud sound of an engine revving up as if a vehicle was quickly accelerating. Deputies observed a single headlight eastbound on SW 58 HWY moving at an extremely high rate of speed. The car radar system captured the motorcycle traveling at 137 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Deputies pulled out of the substation to catch up with the motorcycle. The Deputies caught up to the motorcycle in the 1800 block of SW 58 Highway. Initially the driver continued driving behind another SUV style vehicle, but Deputies were able to box the motorcycle in using the other citizens vehicle, who was stopping in front of the motorcycle. Deputies ordered the driver of the motorcycle off the bike. As the driver as getting off the motorcycle, Deputies had to instruct him to put the kick stand down. Ein Bruce Wernex, 25, of Kingsville, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated and Careless and Imprudent Driving.


 

Deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle pass them at a high rate of speed late on the night of July 19th. When Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled, and shut off the vehicle’s lights. Deputies pursued to a residence in rural Warrensburg. Noah Wade Willgues, 28, of Warrensburg, was placed into custody by Deputies* and transported to the Johnson County Jail pending charges of Careless and Imprudent Driving, Resisting Arrest, Driving While Intoxicated, and Speeding.


 

Deputies observed a motorcycle fail to stop at a posted stop sign at Adriatic and Olive Street in Kingsville on the night of July 19th. Deputies activated the red and blue lights to conduct a routine traffic stop. The motorcycle pulled over in the 100 block of North Olive Street There were no license plates displayed on the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, Robert David Nichol, 27, of Leeton. Nichol was issued summons for Failure to Stop at a Posted Stop Sign and Driving While Intoxicated.


 

On the afternoon of July 19th, Sharon Bates called the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office to report she was wishing to report a fraudulent transaction for a person she has power of attorney over while they are currently incarcerated. There was a transaction made on April 24th of this year at UMB Bank. There is a suspect in this case.


 

Deputies met with Ronald Dean McCune in the 200 block of North Main Street in Centerview on the afternoon of July 19th. McCune stated he contacted the company he works for, advising a suspect made threats to the company and himself. McCune advised he made a report with his department, and Deputies hot lined Senior Services.


 

On the evening of July 18th, Deputies were dispatched to an address in rural Warrensburg for a report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies conducted an investigation on scene. Cody J. Beverly, 30, of Warrensburg, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree. Beverly was transported to the Johnson County Jail to be booked and released.


 

The manager of the Lakeside Estates Mobile Home Park called Johnson County Deputies on the morning of July 18th. The manager stated she had been caring for two dogs for weeks, without any contact with the animal’s owner. The animals were picked up by the Old Drum Animal Shelter.


 

Early in the morning on July 18th, Deputies observed a Ford passenger car travelling northbound on 131 Highway with expired temporary tags. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of SW 200 and 131 Highway. The driver was found to have a warrant for their arrest issued by the Clinton Police Department. Shelbie Taylor Constance, 23, of Chilhowee, was arrested on her FTA warrant on original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle. Constance was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where she was issued another summons for Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle.


Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of SE 421 in Warrensburg in reference to a domestic disturbance on the afternoon of July 18th. The reporting party was whispering to the 911 call taker. JCCD advised they could hear a verbal disturbance in the background. While on route, JCCD received another call referencing the disturbance. The caller stated she wanted her boyfriend removed form the property. She stated he had lost his job, had been smoking methamphetamine, and she wanted him out of the house. The caller was advised on the ex parte and eviction process.


 

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at an address in rural Warrensburg on the evening of July 17th. The reporting party stated there was a domestic dispute between herself and her husband. On scene, Deputies determined the caller had struck her husband. Rhonda Lynn Crews, 66, of Warrensburg, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree.


 

On the afternoon of July 17th, Deputies observed a black Chevrolet Malibu with expired registration travelling south on Southwest 101 Road. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with ethe driver and the passenger. Deputies observed the passenger did not have a safety belt fasted. Both the driver and the passenger provided their identifying information. Shortly after, the passenger was found to have a Failure to Appear warrant from the Warrensburg Police. Faustino Bryan Cornelio, 32, of Warrensburg was arrested on his warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. Bond on that charge was set at $150 cash only. The driver, Casandra Marie Cornelio, 26, of Warrensburg, was given a verbal warning about the expired registration of her vehicle and released from the stop.


 

Deputies responded to an address in rural Chilhowee on the afternoon of July 13th in reference to a report of trespassing. The reporting party advised her mother was verbally arguing, trespassing, and refusing to leave the property. On scene, Deputies determined this was a domestic disturbance. The mother and daughter live next to one another, sharing property line. The argument was over the raising of the reporting party’s children. In the end, the mother was trespassed from the daughter’s property and the daughter was trespassed form the mother’s property.


 

On the morning of July 17th, Deputies were dispatched to investigate an animal bite. The reporting party stated an Amazon delivery driver was bit by a dog while delivering a package two houses down from her in Kingsville. The reporting party stated the Amazon driver tried telling the dog owners what had happened, and they “slammed the door” in her face. The driver told the reporting party she was bit, and the RP helped her bandage the injury. The reporting party stated the address where the incident occurred, but did not know any other information regarding the animal, the name of the owners, or the Amazon driver’s information. Investigation is ongoing.


 

On the evening of July 16th, Deputies were dispatched to a rural Warrensburg address in regards to a domestic disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with the victim, who said they were assaulted by the suspect. After obtaining a written statement from the victim and a witness, Deputies located the suspect at the Old Glory Market and placed him under arrest. Daniel L. Eschliman, 43, of Warrensburg, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree.


 

*While it is not mentioned in the Deputy’s report, Willgues refused to submit to an alcohol chemical test after the traffic stop. In Missouri, refusing a breathalyzer test can result in a one-year driver's license revocation, known as a "Chemical Revocation". Willgues placed a Petition for Review to the Director of Revenue on July 29th. In that petition, Willgues claims the revocation of his license is unjust. The results of the petition are pending.
