To find the best places for a great date night, the online gaming site considered several factors. These factors include the average price for a bottle of wine, the cost of a meal, movie tickets for two, not to mention the amount of places couples might go on a date. They also considered the number of spas, romantic hotels, as well as couple-friendly attractions and activities.

Coming in at #1 on the list is Sarasota, Florida. Yeah, this surprised me. Because when you think of a romantic date Sarasota isn't what comes to the forefront of my mind. Honesty, I think of a place like Paris. When it comes to the United States, though, I think maybe Miami, Vegas, New York, or Chicago. Sexy big cities.

The online gaming site has this to say about Sarasota and its #1 ranking. Second on the list was Atlantic City. While more in line with the idea in my head of what a romantic vacation should be, yet, like I mentioned earlier I'd pick Vegas. The cool thing in my mind about Atlantic City is the boardwalk and the ocean. They cite the casinos, the boardwalk, and the nightlife as the reasons to visit.

Placing third is another city most of us might not suspect would be overly romantic, Savannah. The gaming website that put the list together cites Savannah's southern hospitality, architecture, and quaint streets as a great setting for a romantic date. They offer the following pro-tip for those on a romantic getaway to Savannah. They suggest beginning your romantic evening with a carriage ride through the historic district and wrapping up the evening with a stroll on the riverwalk.

So what Missouri cities made the gaming site's list?

Springfield came in at #21 on the list. As far as romantic dates go in Springfield, the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau suggests staying at one of the City's bed and breakfasts, checking out the night sky at Baker Observatory, or checking out the Springfield Symphony, The Springfield Little Theatre, or the Ozarks Lyric Opera.

Coming in at #12 on the list is St. Louis. St. Louis is also the top midwestern city to make the list. From the Gateway Arch to swanky hotels and the Mississippi there's something to do regardless of what you deem romantic. Cocktails after a Cardinals game? Ballpark Village. Have a sweet tooth? Head to Bailey's Chocolate Bar. Not to mention the great views of the Arch and St. Louis skyline from a two-hour dinner cruise on one of the City's Riverboats.
