Oh Come On, You Guys, Disney World Didn’t Ban Farting, For Crying Out Loud
Ya'll, part of my job is to suss out what is real and fake.
And I'm not gonna pretend that sometimes I don't get it wrong. I do. All the time. People call and are quite angry about it. Even if it's just a typo, sometimes. So when I saw this, I had to laugh, because it seemed so obvious.
Here's another great example of not believing everything you read, see, or hear on the internet. Someone posted on the site Snopes that farting at Disney Parks can get you banned for life. Listen.
Now here's the thing. If you click on the profile "Mousetrapnews", it says
"‼️Real Disney News That is 100% FAKE‼️"
Looking at the comments....wow. I just have a really, really hard time believing people are this gullible. Watching that didn't give you that instinctual 'I'm being lied to' feeling? Didn't you people, you know, grow up with other children around? Kids were pulling stuff like this all the time.
I remember my prom date's friend doing this thing where he would pretend he was telling a joke, and laughing along, and then reveal at the end it wasn't a joke. Then, he would make fun of you for laughing. "Why are you laughing before we even got to the punchline? You don't get jokes, do you, you're just laughing to fit in!" That kind of stuff. It was obnoxious and annoying, and I STILL don't get what my date saw in that guy.
I also remember kids in my 7th grade English class trying to convince me that one of our fellow students had a song on the radio called "Shopping at the Mall" or something in like, 1992. She was sitting right there, like, five seats away.
I mean, seriously. Did these people just... not experience that? Do they just believe everything they see on the internet? Are they just..... stupid? Are they really that lazy and contented to just... not click and see if it's real? They can't take ten seconds to Google "Is Disney Really Banning Farting" before commenting?
You guys. I know not everyone has been to Disney, but.... are we seriously these people now? Do you really think an employee is going to tackle you to the ground and put you in Disney Jail for a bodily function? I've been to Disney World, and while there are employees visible, they, in general, stay out of the way of guests. They will NOT be close enough to you or your family to know who smelt it or dealt it unless you were farting RIGHT in their face, and the personal assault would be more likely to get you kicked out than anything else. I mean, think about it. They're in FLORIDA. They see crazier stuff at home every day.
Of COURSE Disney isn't going to ban farting, you guys. Come the heck on.
Get it together.
Annoyingly yours,
Behka
