Dirty Jobs, Clean Comedy: KAW Services Keeps Pleasant Valley Grinning

GR, I try to keep up with what's happening in social media.  Well.  No, that's kind of a lie.  I mean, I try to kind of "keep an eye" on it, but... in general, stuff can easily pass me by.   I just don't spend as much time on social media as some others do - which is fine, and it just makes it more hilarious and a pleasant surprise when something like this happens.

So for decades, my Dad was a truck driver.  He was a Teamster at one point, and drove locally and all around the state.  Like a lot of you, because of him, I'm a little bit familiar with the trucking industry.  I'm no expert, but you know what I mean. I've been with him a few times back when he was working, and it's a whole industry that a lot of people depend on, but aren't very familiar with.

One of the things truckers absolutely need is a good maintenance  shop. One right here in Missouri caught my eye online the other day.

KAW Services, Inc., located in Pleasant Valley, Missouri, is a family-owned company that has been serving the tanker transport industry for nearly 90 years. They specialize in tank cleaning services and tractor-trailer repairs, offering a comprehensive range of services to keep the transportation industry moving efficiently. 

You get it, it's essential.  They are working with the industry to make sure all is working like it should be, and keeping those trucks on the road.

But.  The company appears to share something very important - a good sense of humor.  This post, for example, sounds like it could be from The Planet Earth.

Which is hilarious, and... true.  I hope they get some free stuff from Monster.  Or maybe another energy drink company, ha! Anyway, even though I have no need for their services, it mad me want to watch more of what they've done.

Much like this video they posted a few days ago.

These dudes are clearly in on the joke.  And in the comments, the account holder says these two have been work besties since they started working there - eighteen years ago. 

But then looking at their website - even the big wigs posed for funny pictures.  So the whole company must really value humor as a way to fuel morale. I think it's great!
