Sedalia Parks Puts Together Great Patriotic Fun on the 4th!

It's a Sedalia tradition to have fun on the 4th of July, including a free picnic at Liberty Park and fireworks at the fairgrounds at 9:30 PM. Here's this year's line-up of great patriotic fun that Sedalia Parks & Recreation has put together for July 4, 2024!

• 10:00 AM CDT - Patriotic parade in downtown Sedalia. You can enter your float for free by contacting Parks & Rec at 660-826-4930.

• 11:00 AM—1:00 PM CDT—Liberty Park will hold a free picnic. The Full Moon Band will perform free music, bounce houses will be available for the kids, and the first 500 attendees will receive free hot dogs, chips, and a soft drink.

• 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT - Star Spangled Swim at Liberty Pool. Pool entry is half-price; pool admission is free for military and veterans with an ID.

• 9:30 PM CDT - Wrap up the night with a spectacular fireworks display on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
