Admittedly, Gentle Reader, for the most part, I don't remember my dreams.  I mean, I do sometimes, obviously.

I remember one in particular when I was in high school, it was about a weird cloud of blood rain that was following me and some friends around.  I was trying to defeat it by standing on top of a tree at my cousin's old house, but it didn't work.  I ended up dying.  That woke me up.

No one has the exact same dreams, that would be weird.  But there are certain TYPES of dreams that LOTS of people have had.   I saw a Buzzfeed poll online asked people if they've experienced these 12 dream THEMES.  Over 20,000 people weighed in.  You can take the quiz here real quick if you want.

I won't go over the whole poll, cos that's, you know, a lot of questions.  But I can tell you that I have in fact dreamt about:

  • Being Chased
  • Falling
  • Losing My Voice
  • Being Naked in Public

Which apparently, aren't that odd.  Being chased and falling are common, with 87% of poll takers saying they've had that one.  Losing my voice is obviously a big one for me, but 58% of you also had that one.  And for some reason, my naked in public dreams are like... almost always half naked?  Anyway.  Some of you had those too, 38%.

So what's the takeaway here?  While you may think your dreams are strange, gross, and make you a freak or a bad person,..... you're not.   Or, if you want to get deep about it, you are a freaky bad person, but so is everyone else.

Pleasant Dreams, ya'll!

Sleepily yours,
Behka
