As you probably know, I've been trying to eat a little better recently.

Nothing too crazy. More veggies, more lean meat, less fried stuff, etc.  And part of that is grilling up some nice chicken.  I find that there are a lot of good spice combinations that you can use with plain old chicken breast that make them pretty tasty! And, of course if you brine your chicken beforehand, it's not going to get too dry. Which I do sometimes, when I can be bothered. I try to keep it simple.  The easiest path from a to z, right? Well, sometimes I find those little tendons in the chicken, and it can make cutting or chopping it difficult.  But then, I saw this on the TikTok, and my mind, blown.

How did I not know this? How is it so simple, yet, so out of my little brain's grasp?  I am going to have to try this, obviously.  I don't know, would that work for regular breast pieces?  Maybe.  I mean, that's what I get for the most part.  I don't really go for the "organic" thing that she was talking about just because, you know, I'm cheap so I don't want to pay for more expensive chicken when the regular bag o' breasts is workin' just fine.

Do you have any special tricks or tips when you're cooking chicken?  Do you like certain recipes better than others?  Do you eat chicken often, or is there another protein that's your go to?

Chickenly yours,

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
